OUR ORIGIN & MISSION
A practical platform for learning and collaboration
ACRES Canada is being rebuilt as a fair-housing education and professional-collaboration initiative. The aim is to make housing information easier to understand, create space for useful community learning and test a new kind of professional work club.
The work is being developed in stages. Educational material will be clearly sourced and kept separate from real-estate, legal, mortgage, insurance and other regulated professional advice.

A developing learning centre focused on practical Canadian housing information. Content will be educational, source-linked and updated as the project grows. ACRES Canada does not provide legal, tax, mortgage, insurance, appraisal or investment advice.

PROPOSED CONCEPT
The Future Professional
Workspace
ACRES Work Club is a proposed Black-led professional hub, one part of ACRES’ housing mission. The commercial site would combine a welcoming lounge and automated coffee with paid quiet-work access, bookable meeting rooms and boardroom, a self-service social-media recording room, and secure offices. We want Black community groups to use the boardroom for meetings and events at a fair community rate. SirLuckHomes is the proposed anchor and would pay the same office rate as comparable occupants; we are seeking independent lawyer, mortgage and contractor or builder offices. A separately governed nonprofit could rent its own space and book program rooms on fair terms, using only funds that permit those costs. We are screening west-GTA sites and testing demand. The older 4,080 sq. ft. drawing is an illustrative test-fit and does not yet show the recording room or equal-sized office layout; it is not an approved floor plan. No property, outside tenant, price or opening date is confirmed.
STATUS
The Work Club is not open, and no public location, prices or bookings are confirmed. We are speaking with prospective independent office users and paid pilot venues. An expression of interest is not a lease or booking. The current residential home-office address is not a public ACRES site.

A street-facing coffee work lounge leads into quiet coworking, then a controlled professional wing with private offices and bookable rooms. The illustrated floor plan is a hypothetical 60 ft × 68 ft, 4,080 sq. ft. test-fit.
Governance &
Legal Status
EXISTING CORPORATION
Afro Canadian Real Estate Inc. is an existing federal for-profit corporation. It is the proposed commercial operator for the ACRES Work Club concept.
The commercial Work Club and the proposed nonprofit are separate concepts. The proposed nonprofit would not be used to subsidize a private brokerage or property purchase. Any future relationship between the entities would be documented at fair value and professionally reviewed.

ACRES Housing Equity & Education Canada is proposed only. It has not been incorporated, is not a registered charity, cannot accept charitable donations and cannot issue charitable tax receipts. It would require an independent board, incorporation, conflict controls and separate finances before operating.
The Work Club remains a proposed commercial initiative. It is not a charitable program, and ACRES is not offering donations or charitable tax receipts.
